Theatre Access Ticket Scheme 2023

Hyde Festival Theatre being a registered charity are committed to providing high quality, accessible and affordable theatre experiences for the Tameside Community since they opened our doors in 1952. 

Working in partnership with other community organisations we strive to provide funded tickets for households who may not otherwise be able to access live theatre and cinema. In the past sparks have welcomed well over 2000 people through such schemes including the £1 Alexandra cinema experience and through the generosity of the local community and grant funding. 

This year along with the support from theatre president comedian Stephen Bailey, we are aiming to raise funds to enable those experiencing financial hardship and exceptional pressure to see our Traditional Family Pantomime, Beauty &The Beast at Hyde Festival Theatre. 

This production is produced by the Sparks Dramatic Society team following their award winning previous productions for other groups.

The production will consist of a full cast of characters with high energy Song and Dance and Lots of hilarious comedy moments. 

You can now sponsor tickets in multiples of £12.50  All donations will be gratefully received. All tickets will be sent to the theatre and distributed to those eligible in Tameside. Thank you in advance.
